I am an adrenaline junkie and love working out. I love the way I feel after and the sense of power during. I could exercise all day. My nutrition is a glaring problem. If you’ve followed my posts at all you can see that it is a serious challenge for me. I recently learned that I’ve been starving my body long term, at least for most of my adult life.
I didn’t understand the rules to nutrition and just felt less was best. I would often forget to even eat because my body doesn’t send hunger cues. It is a cycle of neglect and harm to my body. I have made nutrition a top priority and have really been focused on learning more.
I need more accountability and support. I fall down a lot and it continues to be a struggle. I have partnered with a good friend and fellow coach to provide that support. Introducing the Truly Wholesome Foods Challenge Group. Anyone can join and there is no cost or obligation. The purpose is simply to share the journey of nutrition education and support friends. Whether you’re a novice or an expert you are welcome to join us.
Joining a challenge group changed me. I started thinking how many other challenges I could accomplish and felt I had to follow through because others were relying on me. I think for some of us being accountable to others is more important than to ourselves. If you have a friend that you’d like to support, add them, share the wealth.
