Join Us for October Disability Month Meet The Blind

I am so excited to share today with you. All month we have discussed issues relating to Meet The Blind to raise awareness and funds for charity. Today is the day! If you are a local Pennsylvanian you can join us at Dwellings in lewisburg, we will be there from 4pm until 6pm. The address for directions is 425 Market St Lewisburg, PA 17837.

We will have blind friendly activities available, from a blind trick or treat taste test, to a how to guide walking with a white cane. There will be sensory exploration bags and some treats to take home. We will also bring ordered Love Is Blind shirts. If you’d like to order one for yourself or even your kids please visit our shop.

If you can’t join us physically you can still participate virtually. I hope we’ve shown you how support and awareness can help families like us. Noah was there for us when we had no local resources or support and helped us learn how to adapt. Through them we have done the same for other families.

Your money will help NOAH continue to provide free services for the newly diagnosed, help families make it to conventions, provide free resources to teachers and schools… Their outreach may be quiet but is still impressive and has a direct impact on those with albinism. In 2016 NOAH will be convening in Pittsburgh. You can help. Just $10 can help another family. Share this image, use hashtag #meettheblind and tell others how you’ve helped. Share that you are an Advocate, You make a difference! Thank you for your support all month long and your help in continuing that support for others.
